1. You are having lots of sick days. If you are finding it harder than ever to get out of bed and easier than ever to call in sick even when you are not.
2. You are suffering from depression. You may find yourself sleeping more, sleeping less, putting on weight, losing weight, crying a lot, feeling emotionless. You may even have stopped going out. Depression can be caused by many things, but if you feel depressed because you face the prospect of going to work each day – you need a new job.
3. You are jealous of your friends who have jobs that are completely different to yours. You feel yourself being spiteful or hating them for liking their occupations.
4. You spend at least 20 minutes per day looking for work elsewhere.
5. You have lost interest in socializing with your workmates, you dislike even being in the same room as your boss, and you feel like your professional development is badly on the backburner.
6. You find yourself dreaming about taking online courses that will provide you with the skills and knowledge to do something you will really enjoy.
